Bringing Soccer to Pinellas County Families Since 1970

Welcome back to our Recreational players!

As I enter my 15th year at the helm, it’s with great excitement that I welcome back our Recreational players for their impending season. Coaches meetings took place this week with a good mixture of old and new blood in the mix and an abundance of enthusiasm for the coming weeks!

I am always humbled by such volunteerism that I see year in year out from our recreational parents and thank them from the bottom of my heart!  Without you stepping up to coach we would not have a program. Our Recreational Program is the life blood of our League as we constantly strive to improve its content.

Once again we will have on offer our Recreational Academy on Friday nights for those that want a little more, this bridges the gap between Recreational training and Club training which focuses on ball mastery, thus helping the players to improve their technique. This is implemented by our trained professional coaches. Dates on these sessions will be released shortly, so please watch this space.

As you might have noticed there have been some improvements at the Facility since you were last here as we strive to make the park a better place to be. You will instantly notice the sun shades for your comfort, along with some new bleachers and tiled floors in our club house bathrooms. We will continue to add improvements throughout the year.

For those of you that want more involvement in what we do please feel free to contact me at we can always use more help!

On a final note, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing NER/St Pete Raiders Soccer program for your child.
